We really liked this place. It was right next door to where we stayed. The food was good and had a lot of flavor. I had the boneless korean ribs and my wife had the black and Bleu Caesar salad.
The food was good and our server was kind, but it took over an hour to get our food. We watched as other tables (who came after our party and were similar in size) were served and left before we even got our food. In the end, it was over a two hour breakfast experience, which left me unimpressed.
The food was quite expensive for the overall average experience. I found everything to be quite average at this place.
The lack of coasters and the water just running on the table shows that they don't pay much attention to detail.
However, I must say that I expected the shrimps (only 4 of them) to be too little food but in the end I was really full.
Ate here twice while visiting. First had the macadamia pancakes. Very delicious. Interesting batter makes for a fluffy cake yet crispy around the edges.
Second I had the banana and rum waffle. Also very good, not as much rum sauce as I hoped but didn’t bother me.
Service is nice. Sometimes you have to grab their attention, but everyone is friendly and helpful and eager to give you a great experience.
This place has the best Mai Tai we have ever had, made with fresh juice and not purée. The food is also delicious. Friendly staff.
We love this place for all 3 meals. Have visited multiple times and almost every time we have come to Hilo. Prices a little high but what is to be expected this close (walking distance) to the hotels. Beautiful scenery, though, during your walk. Erica was very attentive and friendly. Food always delicious and never too crowded.
So good!! We got the prime rib, prime rib sandwich (French dip), a salad and had complimentary spinach artichoke dip as an app. Service was great and quick, food was delicious!
LOVED the Coconut Banana Mac Nut Pancakes. Also got the punalu'u omelette with the Hilo Fried Rice as a side. Fried Rice was really good. Plus delicious banana bread
